We Made a Chair [& an Ottoman]
The first project of 2020 is also the first project I've done where the girls have been vocally angry with me. They have a hand-me-down "train" table that was probably 5-7 years old when we received it 9 years ago. Needless to say, the table has seen better days and I wanted to replace it with a more grown-up table, which was finished to try and match the room.
Oh boy, did I hear about it from them. "This is a kids playroom - not an adult room"
So rather than getting rid of the train table, we've "moved" it into a slightly new location and placed the coffee table in its place. Now to figure out how to get them to let me get rid of the alphabet foam letters puzzle pieces and replace them with a carpet.
