We are listing this as a BONUS project as it technically occurred long before the creation of [Almost] Nailed It, but it was a project that involved cutting and fastening wood.

Have you ever had your wife ask for a clothes line as Mother's Day gift? Not earrings, not a new purse...but a clothes line. I have! (I'm living a CHARMED life!)

How could I say no? And if this was going to be a gift, it was going to be NICE!. No flimsy aluminum bars that can bend and break. This clothes line was designed to survive a hurricane; who cares if I had zero carpentry skills a that point.

(Fortunately, this concept hasn't been fully tested as a Tropical Storm is the worst weather we've received since it was designed - but the 40 pounds of concrete surrounding those 6x6 posts make me pretty darn confident.)
